SANJAY RAJAN

• Global Executive MBA, a joint program of London Business School & Columbia Business School
• MS Computer Systems Engineering, Northeastern University
Originally from Hyderabad, India, Sanjay made the U.S. his home after completing a master’s degree at Northeastern University, eventually settling in the mountains of Colorado.
Sanjay’s consulting expertise spans various industries and technology solutions, from aerospace product lifecycle management to omni-channel digital strategies for CPG/retail, and digital product leadership roles in financial services. Presently, in the public sector, his focus is on modernizing the disease surveillance system for a state agency. Sanjay has worked globally engaging clients in Finland, France, New Zealand, Germany, India, Korea, the UK, and across the U.S.
Driven by a mantra of creating value for organizations, society, and the world, in 2008 Sanjay started researching a passion project that later became the award-winning social enterprise start-up SLOWCOLOR: A living wage, fair trade textile company working with weaver artisan groups in the Indian state of Telangana to co-create a collection of naturally dyed textiles using plant and mineral-based dyes from Indian heritage and premium natural and organic yarns. Accolades: • Best of the World B-Corp micro-enterprise, ‘Overall’ and ‘Environment,’ 2014/2015 • Sankalp Awards, Semi-finalist India, 2014 • SOURCE Awards, Ethical Fashion Forum, 2012
Drawing from this experience, today Sanjay advises founders in accelerators and incubators in multiple systems — textiles, agrifood, healthcare — impacted by Climate Crisis.
Sanjay served for seven years as a board member of Seva.org, a global non-profit eye care organization, and for two years as President of the United Nations Association, Denver Chapter (UNA-Denver) where he championed Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) initiatives locally. Today he serves on the Colorado Circular Communities Enterprise board (C3) a statewide program that employs a circularity framework for reducing and averting waste.
